MARATHON WALKING TRAINING PLANS

Important note: If you are new to exercise, are over 40, or have any health concerns be sure to check with a physician before beginning any training program.

Marathon Training - General guidelines for marathon training.

Half Marathon Training Plans - Easy to follow beginners half marathon plan and a plan for the more experienced walker.

Beginner Marathon - If you have been walking less than 6 months, or currently doing less mileage choose the beginners' plan.

Marathon Training Plan - Basic marathon training plan for walkers currently walking 5 to 6 days a week with a minimum of 20 miles per week.

Advanced Marathon Plan - Advanced walkers that are currently doing more miles, and have participated in previous endurance training.
